Post-doctoral position in Palaeontology

In the frame of the CLIMIBIO project, the Evo-Eco-Paleo lab (CNRS) of Lille has ongoing research activities focused on the impacts of climate change on palaeobiodiversity patterns and dynamics, and is looking for one postdoctoral researcher to work in this context with the palaeontological team.

This 12-month postdoctoral position is available starting in between November 2017-January 2018 at the Evo-Eco-Paleo lab (CNRS) in Lille, France. The exact contours of the actual project will be discussed together with the candidate, depending on his/her interests and skills. Database management, programming (e.g. R), and statistics are likely to be involved. None of these skills is absolutely necessary  to apply, but a combination of these will be favored. Expertise in specific taxonomic groups is not required, but creative and critical thinking are. French speaking recommended, but not mandatory.
